Chris Dawe was the CEO of The Phnom Penh Post from 2012 to 2015. In 1991, he founded and became the major shareholder of the first foreign invested news publication in Vietnam, The Vietnam Investment Review, with Ross Dunkley, who later became the owner and publisher of the Myanmar Times and The Phnom Penh Post. The Vietnam Investment Review was the only one that was not State-owned at the time.
After selling the foreign side of the publishing company, Dawe then established Vietnam’s first international school, the Ho Chi Minh City International Grammar School, and the first-ever foreign invested Joint Venture in Television with Hanoi TV. He also founded the country’s largest investment fund, Director of Dragon Capital. In 1995 Vietnam’s Prime Minister officially presented him with a Medal of Labor.
William Clough and Adrian Atkins are shareholders of the Twinza Oil Copmany, focused on commercialising discovered, but as yet undeveloped, oil and gas fields.
